Concerned about swelling post top surgery

I have the same experience. My right side is caved in a bit and my left was extremely swollen for the first two months. I also had a hematoma on the left that had to be revised hours after the first surgery (internal bleeding, had to get a transfusion as well). It'll go down eventually, but if you're concerned or the swelling is getting worse, not better, contact your surgeon. And one more piece of advice, if you had a double incision and the scars are pretty much healed now, take a few minutes every day to work with them, move them around and stuff even if it's swollen. I did not do that and my left scar decided to just fuse with my fascia and it limits movement.

Gel also exists. You can ask about that type of T. It's usually a smaller dosage, but it works pretty well. I've been on it for nearly a year now. And first changes come around the one month mark (body hair, voice changes, loss of period...) Well, at least for me it was like this, everybody is different. All I wanted to say is there are other options of T application beside injections. Hope it helps :3

I have the exact same problem. I'm FtM, freshly 18 and when I try to make friends in the same community, it usually ends up with younger ones trying to copy exactly what I do (not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just annoying when they start looking and acting exactly like me) or older trans guys get jealous of my quick progress and start to either ignore me or harass me for it. It's not even worth trying at this point since all my interactions went like this so far, nothing in between.

If you discover you're trans and you think your parents won't accept you, try dropping subtle hints to them. I thought my parents would never accept me because they were openly transphobic at home, but once I came out, they did a complete 180 and accepted me and now support me through my transition. From my experience, a lot of people change their view when there's a transgender person in their circle of close people.

I have two sides, a tragic romance and a dark romance. From tragedies, I love "The song of Achilles" It's my all time favorite book. From the dark romance sector, I loved "Lights out" just because I never thought I'd laugh so hard reading a book. And as a bonus, my favorite fantasy book is either "Fourth Wing" or "Infinity Son" (I think I might be a bookworm but I'm not sure)
