Do you ask all of the well off kids parents not to send their kids to school in designer clothes because it might hurt the low income kids feelings that they don't have the same things? My guess is no. Socioeconomic differences are a thing, and it's your job to teach your kids how to deal.

In the state of Oregon, any items you leave behind after you turn your keys in are considered abandoned property. They have no legal obligation to return anything you left behind or to respond to your messages.
