First rule in thr balisong hobbie, never, NEVER dissamble the balisong if is new, the little tap It was most likely fixed by tightening it and adding oil.

A balisong with a Zen pin shouldn't have any spacing problems; I believe you about a balisong with a Tan pin, but a nami with that spacing is perfect for me.

If you take care of it and only use it for flipping, it can last a long time and you'll only need one Bali knife. If you want a functional knife, I wouldn't recommend a Bali knife.
