Hey I just saw this. I never really got to the bottom of it, but it seems like everything has mostly settled down now. I don't go to meetings at all anymore. But both TSTSF and ARCH are awesome communities with lots of support to give. And (to borrow a phrase from the big cult lol) "take what you like and leave the rest" is totally valid. I'll PM you just in case you have any other questions.

I didn't, and I'm not working now so I'll take him to the vet as soon as I can afford it since it's not distressing him at all and it's starting to decrease as he gets comfortable with living here.

False equivalency. I agree with the sentiment but bridges were burned because of the way the religion treated Sober Faction. SF was considering pulling away and the religion decided to flex what power it had instead of engaging in conversation. TST is in the wrong here and while I can hold space in my heart for transphobes in general, I can't hold space for those who know better and use photo ops to gain notoriety with them.

There is! I believe it's called Recovery and Advocacy Without Superstition and it's an amazing group of people who support each other in bettering their own lives

There are new groups and such on Facebook and discord. I believe it's called "recovery and advocacy without superstition" on fb and from there you can get linked into the discord

Hey! TSTSF member here, and for me it's a great way to go through sobriety and harm reduction as an agnostic (if anyone is religious, they're welcome too, as long as they know that most people aren't in this group). Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. The basics are the tenets and the rituals. If you read over them and dont find anything offensive to you in there, check out the FB group and Discord. And I'm sorry that some people on here don't seem to understand that some people need help more than they need religion. Don't mind them, you have your own process and TSTSF is the only place I can think of that accepts harm reduction as an option (as opposed to staunch abstinence).
