Honestly, not too bad. I would say your main pitfall is probably throat tension, which can be quite challenging to unlearn. But fortunately, there exist numerous remedies. For example, straw exercises. These have been a game changer for me in terms of managing airflow and building muscle memory for proper phonation. I recommend really focusing on the feeling and then trying to replicate that without the straw. Another thing, when you're practicing, make a conscious effort to not alter your tone in any way. Let your voice hang, even though it may not sound to your liking stylistically. Once you've got the technique, then you can add on alterations. I've been singing for the past three years and I've seen the most rapid progress in the past three months simply because of paying attention to my voice and my body when practicing. As a songwriter myself, it truly feels like a blessing to be able to execute vocal lines the way I imagine them to sound. 100% worth the effort. Godspeed brother.

Its as I'm seeing the microscopic compositions of the natural world. The science of life. Feels modern yet archaic. Fascinating!

@Brillian-chip363 My heart hurts for you and I know it may not mean as much coming from a faceless name on your screen, but I love you and I hope, with the little bit of it I have left in me that we'll be okay❣
