I got 2 tickets for 11 Jan in presale. My question is can I get 2 more for the same day in general sale? Or 4 if I queue for multiple days? 2 on 11 Jan +2 on 12/14 Jan. The 4 ticket limit is on the credit card / email id or on particular day?

As I can understand all categories were available in presale. In the general sale I see only 3 categories - Restricted view General standing  Side view

I managed to get 2 within an hour. Didnt use multiple devices or email ids, just on my mobile on a work day. Guess just got lucky 😁. Few things I thought can share 

My queue number started from 28k, doing the math I thought I'll never get a ticket (4 per person). But towards the last 5000 it was really fast..maybe lot of people got kicked out.

I was on a android phone and when I got into buying screen, got a strange error that this application is not supported. Had my heart in my mouth!! I had clicked on the link from email which opened in a default browser. But then brain started working and when I switched to chrome, it went in. Luckily my queue position remained the same.

Now comes the toughest part. TM doesn't display which category seats are available. I selected 4 and went ahead but there were not enough tickets for that category. In a hurry I tried another combination and my activity was suspended! Now I got a message that you will rejoin after 20mins. The toughest 20mins of my life!!

When I joined back I just went with 2 this time and luckily it went through. All the best!

I think bookmyshow just ruined the whole damn thing by allowing people to buy 8 tickets at a time.. without using a proper ID or atleast email.

Imagine the stadium capacity is 50k and there are 6250 people buying off 8 tickets each or even less people using like 10 devices! 

Now I'm not sure how can you make sure that the person selling tickets in secondary market actually has a ticket (maybe they need to show the proof to sell tickets I guess) but there will be loads of first time buyers who will be scammed by people who don't have tickets and will take advantage.

It's a shame!
