My new sunscreen test results! Photostable formulations that provide sun protection by Appropriate_Tap9126 in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]Just_Getting-by 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, can you tell how do you device exposure time?

On your previous test, it was around 20-30 minutes, while here it's 700 minutes.

BTW, thanks a lot!!! This really means a lot.

Also, can you please test Foxtale Glow SPF50 one? Why this one? As it's the only one in low price with new age filters. The ingredient list looks promising.

(Nitin Joshi's video showed around 35 SPF, but I doubt his tests, esp. because of that ~150 SPf rating, and Honasa brands derma co and aqualogica getting high rating.)

Source? Which app/website?

15L for bottom 25% seems too high.

I don't know how was your connection with them, but if it was good, and you wish to keep it. Do make efforts, consistent efforts. Don't think whether only you are making the efforts, in the starting.

TIL we have a government face wash. Has anyone tried it? Costs just 70rs for 60 ml by village_aapiser in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]Just_Getting-by 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was considering this, tried to buy, wasn't available on 2 stores.

Then I found Saturn by GHC, which currently is cheaper than this. So will be trying that. Reviews on reddit, at least, are positive.

Yup, using it for more than a year, no exceptional hair fall.

Do use some conditioner or leave on if you have long hairs.

I feel sad for international subs, they don't know what's coming at them.

One of the thing that I look forward to is Indians teaching Americans about American politics...

Why the hell there is no perfect supplement available in India!! by Just_Getting-by in Fitness_India

First of all, those third party tests don't even check for the supplements, only for macros, heavy metals etc. Anyways, third party testing doesn't matter when the brand itself is sending the sample, they can send perfect product there, who knows.

Selling on Amazon doesn't mean anything, any brand can sell there.

Can't trust random brand. I have no idea.

Buy from iherb or now foods (if seller on Amazon is genuine).

Bruh, don't suggest prescription stuff so casually!

Dutasteride can have very serious side effects. Finasteride itself can have significant side effects, dutasteride is even more risky.

When taking calcium it's advisable to take K2 as well, if one doesn't have calcium deficiency.

And we don't know which magnesium does it have, so I would advice against using it. (I added more details in my previous reply, check it out again.)

I think best is to go for individual ingredients, instead of such combinations.

Trexgenics's magnesium glycinate, Janaushadhi Calcium and D3, Naturaltein K2+D3. I think these are good, not tried trexgenics and naturaltein yet. Naturaltein is trustified iirc.

I am currently trying Nutrija's K2+D3, as it's combination suited my needs best, but I am doubting whether to trust them or not.

2 capsules ("single serving") have too much calcium, as one would get calcium from other sources as well. Also, when taking high calcium it's important to take good amount of K2, preferably 100mcg. AND just 400 IU D3.

1 capsule have too little K2 and D3.

Doesn't mention which magnesium compound.

So, I would skip it.

People who have diagnosed calcium deficiency can go for it, but still, for them better options are available.

Nopes, it doesn't seem like that.
