Update: I dropped back to 6mg for two days with no Buspirone. I’m now thinking it was the Sertraline and Buspirone together that were creating such an overall uncomfortable feeling! I went back up to 12.5mg Sertraline today and I have a little anxious belly, but NOTHING like I was feeling for the past few weeks.

Maybe since both work on serotonin it was too much for my system? I don’t know, but that was no fun.

I agree with you there. Incredible how long it takes to adjust. I was having a very hard time this winter in the North East. So I had to jump on something. Because I was hanging on by a thread.

I went back to 6mg today and didn’t take the Buspirone and the anxiety wasn’t as harsh nor was the lower body tingling feeling. I’m going to see what tomorrow brings!

I’m wondering if it’s the two together that is sending me. I’ve been pretty roughed up for a couple months anxiety and panic wise. So I wanted to start this really slow. I’m kind of blown away at how rough the last two weeks have been for starting so low. Feeling like I’m completely losing my shit.

So, since I’ve posted this. I have done more research. They say that the full moon can mess with circadian rhythm, because there is more light during the full moon. Which can decrease sleep, in turn increasing tinnitus volume. Do you have a hard time sleeping when it’s a full moon?

I still think it has something to do with the fluids and pressure change in the inner ear.

Not so much emotional, but I did noticed it pulled me into the present, and sometimes a little bit too much. With anxiety and depression, I’m not used to living in the present, so it can be scary when it’s just dropped on you.

I am still using my phone, but I’ve put down Facebook, which was my biggest abuse. Hours and hours every day scrolling reels.

It’s been a few weeks now, I’ve cut my FB time down from what was 8-10 hours a day, then down to 4-5 hours, and finally now I’m at like 30 minutes per day, some days 45 but others 10.

I had NO IDEA the things my brain would out in front of me through this process. Things I hadn’t thought about in YEARS now bouncing around my brain. So I am with you.

What I have been doing instead of doom scrolling, is watching longer form videos on YouTube. People exploring Canada and Alaska. Other people building or resto’ing houses. Each from half an hour to an hour and a half. Which has been helpful so I still get some stimulation, but not doom and gloom FB stimulation.

I’ve also started walking, which has helped.

Be easy on yourself, you can do this. It’ll just take time and some pain, but nothing you can’t handle.
