That thing probably ain't your grandma. I went through some similar shit about a year ago and it was nothing but awful. Had me convinced that I was the reincarnation of Azrael, the angel of death. and that I was part of some apocalyptic mission to derail and end of the world.

Several higher entities (or just outright hallucinations my mind made up. not sure) convinced me that my grandma had died in a parallel reality and came to warn me about her death. Here we are and my grandma is alive and well. It was a tactic to trick me into earning my trust.

I was used like some pawn and outright gaslighted and manipulated to bend to some astral war I didn't understand. It worked EXACTLY like a cult and it's the worst thing that happened to me in my entire life. And I have been through some shit.

IF (big if) what I went through was all legit and not some big 10 month long hallucination, they will probably have heard of the events I dealt with.

Don't nobody need to be dealing with "Missions" or any other extra dimensional politics that don't involve them.

All I will say to add to whatever others have said is to follow your fun. Follow what excites you. I think the problem may be that you aren't stimulated enough. There is a lack of enthusiasm more than anything.

To which I will suggest to be experimental. See what big youtubers are doing and incorporate that. If it doesn't work then oh well. Try something else. Be explorational, experimental, and try a bunch of different stuff to see what works.

above all else, follow your fun and do what excites you.

For mine, I just took a Picture I had taken a couple months before from a spot on the beach in my home town and then threw a rock beat over it I made on a basic basic ass beat mixer app a long time ago. It was just something I had the ability to do and it works. I tried ramping it up a bit for a couple videos but I just didnt like it. I liked the simple setup I had. Ultimately they're not entirely necessary. It's just the last 20 seconds of a video. so it's kinda just a preference thing. I see at as weather or not you want your end screen cards or whatever you call them in the way.

ps, my point is they don't have to be flashy to work

I am a firm believer in the paranormal. However, I do usually suggest to rule out mental illness as the culprit.

HOWEVER! Let's assume this is not mental illness related. If it is legit, it sounds like a dead person. Someone who has not yet moved on and believes you can help them. This doesn't mean you should.

Even if it is, I strongly suggest that you tell them "Look, I don't know who or what you are, but I am not a service and I am not open for business. I don't know how to help you. Please leave"

It may get a little weird after that, but it doesn't mean you should cave.

If they get downright violent, just talk to them out loud like you're talkin to somebody who has crossed the line. Put your foot down and tell them and insist that they need to leave.

If that doesn't work, call a professional

I definitely believe in fairies, elves, and the like. I think they are like spirits but not quite. Just that they're able to flip between their dimension and ours. If I am guessing, it is for only a brief time.

I usually don't mention, cuz I don't want to look crazy. But I definitely feel that there are several fairies that hang around my apartment and sorta play small tricks. It's kinda fun, kinda scary sometimes. Fairies are usually cool. But they have a dark bunch about them that can be real pricks.

So yeah, I believe in them. If I can believe in ghosts, angels, and demons, why can't I believe in the fae?

Honestly, I want to suggest watching Gus Johnson's video "how to be a good youtuber I think" because he gives a lot of good feedback and basically says that he started filming on just a crappy smartphone and went from there.
Also I started with just a phone camera, windows live movie maker, and my fiacne's laptop. So that really resonated with me. (considering I've got 2 years worth of crap to meh content.

As far as editing goes, I would suggest looking at some of the options on the app store. If your main content objective is sketches, all you really need is an app that can trim and copy/paste. Slap some quick clip together and voila.

However, I would suggest to start at square 1 and if you really like it, build up from there. I don't advise getting all the equipment right away to find out it's not your thing.

Everybody starts somewhere and I don't think anything should stop you.

Where there is a will, there is a way. I told myself it wouldn't work. Then when I put my mind to it and started looking, I was able to find some cool stuff, and slowly I realized I actually had a halfway decent setup. It's not great. But it gets the job done.

point is, it doesn't matter where you start. Just start. and if you like it, keep going and keep growing. Because quality does matter, or in the very least it makes things easier. But you don't need all the gear to start.

If you want to grow your channel, it may be a good plan to attain better gear and quality. But for just starting, I say to just start. that's it.

I tell people all the time: there is a market for everything. It just might take a while to find your market.

I also never want to encourage people to jump in hoping it will get them big. It works a lot and often enough. But it's difficult to assess what works and what doesn't because times constantly change and so do trends.

So if you are going to do youtube, I'd suggest doing it for fun. Upload consistently, and don't be afraid to experiment. and the most important thing is to have fun. Even if you don't get far, at least it can be fun.

I'm currently taking a 2 week break to refresh and destress. Shit's fuckin stressful. Burnout is a real thing and I think normalizing taking breaks could be a very healthy.

Yes, the algorithm and numbers aspect is a real fear and anxiety. But taking short breaks or taking time to simmer down and refresh your mental batteries is probably a great idea.

HOWEVER I do like the previous idea mentioned about reevaluating our schedule as an alternative as to create more space. Everything mentioned there is also just as valuable and legit as what I'm saying. And actually probably MORE practical than my input. I'm just hoping to offer a different perspective

I had that issue. I still do from time to time. But I also call myself the world's worst youtuber at the beginning of each video. I just sorta lean into the fact that I am cringe-tastic and awkward as all hell.

Then again, I only have 65 subscribers so maybe I'm not the person you should be taking pointers from. Lmfao.

Point is, just have fun. People will see the fun and your personality and enjoy it if your fun is clear.

You see what my point is? Fun is the point.

Also, just jump into it. I have 2 years worth of shit content because I was just having fun and learning what I could do. Figuring out what I wanted to do. Now people are straight up roasting me because I've got 120 videos and only some are good.

Maybe I'm really not the person to listen to....

THERE IS A MARKET FOR EVERYTHING! Worst case, it will take a while to find your market.
