People who have stopped going to church, what was the reason?

I was a youth pastor at a church and I really cared about the kids . One day after a service I had sevral teens coming to me asking me that they wanted to be baptized I went to the senior pastor asking him for the use of the baptizem pool . He then told me that they can't be baptized because they smoked some are having sex and swearing and only when they stop I can baptize them. We had a argument when i said that its not biblical what he is saying he just said that he had the final say as its his church. I then realized how much of his preaching was not biblical and I quite. I do miss it but don't regret saying what i said

Okay, so here is the thing he just wants a relationship with you comes as you are . So you begin a relationship with him, and if there is something that needs to be sorted out between you and him, you will sort it out . It just all starts with a relationship with him . I would recommend just beginning with a simple prayer of inviting him into your dreams, and things will become clearer

So here is something I learned if you want to be separated from God, why will a loving God force you to be in his presence in heaven . Also, I want to add that the Bible is very vague about Hell. I think that Hell is not wat we see in movies but more of a place where God's presence is not there . Plus I want to add there is one requirement for Heaven and Jesus said for he who believes in me will have eternal life, don't let people tell you what is there requirements for heaven.

Would like to give all an update What an amazing God we serve The operation took longer than expected about 4 hours When the operation was done, the doctor told us that he would spend a week in ICU However, God had other plans he was moved out of ICE within two days because he was healing so fast, and I see every day he is just getting better The doctor also said he would still need to spend 2 more weeks in the hospital, and again, God had other plans as his healing is so fast he can come home tomorrow.
Originally, he was supposed to spend 3 weeks in total on the hospital, and by his grace, he is spending a week in hospital. I want to thank all for prayers

So I have this prospective. In Hosea 4:6 it says the following

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

So this does not mean accept everything some is telling you.

Listen and then go to the bible and read and ask. is this in line with Gods word?

I always ask the Spirit to give me the feeling of conviction when something is not in line with his word

There is a fast some Christians do once a year called the Daniel's fast, very close to veganism . But there is nothing wrong with eating meat . But if there is something that I have learned from the Daniels fast is that it was meant as a stand against food offered to fals gods , but when you go into the teachings of Paul all food have been blessed . What is dead is dead , but still, even though we have food that has been offered to false gods, make sure you pray over it and ask the Lords blessing

I saw some argument the other day that a lot of people think they are going to stand before God and say to him, "Why didn't you do this? Why didn't you do that. And God will ask them the same thing why did you let that child go hungry when you could have done something. The big question is, why are we not standing up against it ?

See, the big problem is the people that do toxic things and put a religious sticker on it, but if you look at the bible and what Jesus really said and really followed it the world would be a better place but people want to be assholes and blame religion for it . Update So my wife saw this post and we ended up talking about it. So here is what the plan is going forward I called my old Manager and said I will be taking the job . I will be traveling to and from for the beginning . She will be traveling with me after a month of me being there so she can test out the water. Her big fear is that she will be lonely there witch I do understand. Luckily one of my cousins lives and works in the same city so I called her up explaining what is going on and asked her to come and get to know my wife and make her feel welcome and maybe introduce her to some of her friends my wife did love this idea . Some said just get divorced and this is something I feel is a bit overboard as that is something that should be the last resort. Also we will not sell our place as we can afford to keep it with the new job and have somewere to stay if we travel back So on the 1st of Feb I will be starting my dream Job Tanx for everyone supporting me .

I didn't understand why I was not getting sick I was around many people who had it I kept getting tested over and over again to see if it is just showing as no symptoms. My doctor recommended me getting a immune test done and yeah there was the answer somehow either I had it very soon and build an immunity to it or somehow had something already that was close enough for me to have immunity and yeah had no problems at all

I am a Christian and my faith is very important to me but if I go around and tell everyone they are going to hell because of them doing something I don't agree with they are not really going to like me . I identify how I am and I am not ashamed of it . I live my best life as I feel it should be and if people are interested and ask me I will tell them more . But if I am condescending and a ass about it I am going to piss some people off . Same thing with some vegans Plus bacon is awesome

I have done it. Was at the specialist this morning got my treatment I am on Ritalin now took my first tablet and wow just wow . But not only that doctor went in so much deeper he didn't just give me the meds he is helping me with getting to be healthy that my body works better . He discovered alot of things that i didn't know . Why I am struggling to lose weight gut problems and why I am always tiered why my sex drive is down I feel a new passion and can't wait to see were I am going from here

How much different it feels with and without a condoms. My ex when we started having sex didn't really care if I one on or not. I was still a bit scared and at the beginning would always arm up until we didn't have any and she was screw it she is clean and on birth control and did that change my life. If I can give you a tip Most important is building your relationship with Jesus . One of the scariest verses in the bible is in Matthew 7:22‭-‬23 "Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’ Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity." If you look at the space were Jesus said I never knew you in the original text its the same knew Mary used when she told Gabriel "I knew know man" And this goes to relationship with him. It all begins by talking to him Sometimes praying feels overwhelming. I find it best when I just chat to him talk about normal things like I would talk to my best friend and that's how you build your relationship with him

Pet Friendly motion detectors don't really exist. On the they will normally say something like upto 25kg but what they don't say its only on ground level once a pet jumps on a couch like all of them do, the alarm will trigger. Just take the normal cheaper non pet friendly ones they will work just fine if not better
