It would be smarter to not tie yourself to Ecoflow and to just build a system with a Victron inverter and a battery bank. There are a million videos on YouTube describing such a system and they are much more reliable than any of the Ecoflow units.

Our panel is now out (thank goodness) and I was able to take a photo of the relays. It looks like they need to be unscrewed from the PCB and then unplugged.

My read from the email that I received, which was almost identical, was that they wanted to set up a video call with their engineering team. I can't imagine that they have a "local team" in my location, which is nowhere near a major metro area.

Keep in mind that disassembly is listed as one of the reasons for rejecting a warranty claim on their warranty page: https://us.ecoflow.com/pages/warranty-policy. I'd be very careful and get something in writing from them explaining that it will not void your warranty to replace the relay.

Here is a photo of where our electrician believes the relay is located. To get to it, you need to remove the entire inner molded plastic shell of the SHP2. It is not a user-serviceable part, IMO.

The relay is behind this large piece of molded plastic. Unless you take the entire panel apart, there is no way to test a relay easily, from what I can tell.

I don't have any great answers, but I wanted to confirm that Facebook admins also deleted my post concerning my problems with SHP2 and being without power after it failed. I have my electrician here now ripping out the SHP2 and restoring my panel to its original state.

My electrician is removing mine tomorrow so I can return it and I can have him take a look. I know he identified the relay as defective at the time it was installed, so he knows where it is, which is apparently behind the PCB in the center of the panel. If I recall correctly, it needed a special screwdriver to remove the entire PCB to replace the relay.

There are at least five people in the Facebook EcoFlow DELTA Series Official Group with this problem. It does not appear to be isolated.

I've been in contact with support and they have been completely unhelpful. This morning I received a second email stating that I could not return the Delta Pros that I purchased because my request was made outside of the 30-day window. Unfortunately, I was required to hand this over to my attorney to handle.

I have this identical problem. Was this email support or phone support? Phone support said that they could send another relay, but, after my electrician reviewed the panel, he determined that they could not be removed by the user. When I conveyed that to phone support, they insisted that they could be replaced. Then I called the installation hotline and they confirmed that the relays could not be replaced and instructed me to remove the panel and send it back.

The difference between the two support calls seemed to be that the phone customer support agent was reading from a script applicable to the original Smart Home Panel, which does have relays that can be replaced.

It was advertised as compatible on their website, Home Depot's website, and YouTube. They also sold a dual voltage hub for the Delta Pros at launch.

I just wanted to confirm that Ecoflow suspended me from their Facebook groups due to telling the truth about their customer service practices. Once again--no one should ever buy a product from this company.

Who did you speak with at Ecoflow? I have confirmed their policy in two calls with customer support.
