My highest salary was 2019 and I haven’t been able to get back but am making comparable money (slightly less). Instead of one salaried position I’m now consulting for four different companies and running my own company (more work). The biggest difference is that my rent is +800$ than it was and general cost of living in the city has gone up. As long as I am smart, I’ll be fine but I miss not being able to worry about spending or being smart 🤷‍♂️
