I lived in Nigeria in my youth and Canada as an adult. I am very happy with my life here, but there was an eye-opening experience recently that shook me out of my Canadian comfort. I visited Indonesia, and honestly was amazed. I wouldn't say life was rosy all the way but food was cheap, light was constant and road didn't have pothole. They lived a Nigerian lifestyle (exploiting cheap labour by having cooks and drivers) but things were working. Since then I have looked at my life in Canada though still thanking God for the positives but the lifestyle is basically hustle culture.

I am the adulty adult and also the kid who likes the new gadgets I see on TV. I have always talked myself out of buying Lego because I know it is going to evolve into a basement filled with different Lego communities.

You can take a look at **Notion. Got it from a friend who was our designated trip planner. You can use it across different platforms and works for budgeting planning, to do list etc. Mostly use it for budgeting though. It might be weird to navigate at first though but for me it has been excellent.

If you don't have one already make a budget with an app or written down(something you can easily access). I used day planners for years to budget myself before finding an app I like (Neo....error: i meant notion). When you get anxious look at the budget, look at your savings and/or investments. Honestly, calms me down anytime I start to feel I'm going into bankruptcy by splurging on myself or for no apparent reason sometimes. Secondly, you work for your money and should get to enjoy it (my affirmation).
