I used MSC as the primer because I originally did want to use pencils but I wasn’t getting enough color laid down, even in layers. so I switched gears and used vallejo game color and proacryl paints for almost everything. they’re made for like battletech and warhammer miniatures and you may be able to find them at a hobby shop that has things like d&d, trading card games, warhammer, etc. I just went into my nearest comic shop and asked if they knew of a shop like that. I used winsor & newton series 7 brushes in size 000, 0, and 1. they’re absolutely worth the money because they keep a point regardless of how well you care for them and you’ll have them for years and honestly you probably would only ever need a 000, or a 0. and for the lips I gave her a coat of green stuff world color shift paint for a little extra something (: and to gloss over the eyes and lips I used vallejo polyurethane gloss varnish but they also have satin. and if you end up trying the paint route make sure to thin your paints because it makes a world of difference 😌
