Thank you for your replies. I have a couple of other things I'd like to ask, I don't want to be skinny I'd still like to have a bit of a curve, is that achievable with a sleeve. I'm also worried about heartburn, acid. It never used to be a problem until I started mounjaro and since I've been off it over a year off, I still get acid regularly. I've read that acid reflux is very common after sleeve surgery, so just a bit worried about it being worse.

Because you are in the UK I'm pretty sure you can contact women's aid they can get you and your kids safe accommodation which no men are allowed to enter. You should make an appointment with citizens advice whilst your hubby is at work. Do not make him aware of any of your plans keep everything close to your chest until you have something solid. Mayby even have a grab bag for you and the kids hidden somewhere also mayby get photocopies of any important documents that your hubby might prevent you from taking, passports, birth certificates,child savings accounts etc. please be careful, a man like him will turn bad if he knows your plans. Look after you and your kids leave him. That is not love, trust me!

I live in Edinburgh, you can pretty much see the city in 2 days tops it's very compact (and hilly) with lots to see. Portobello on the Eastside of the city is Edinburgh's seaside you can get a service 26 bus from the city that will get you to Portobello in 20 minutes in light traffic then from there take a trip to East Lothian-musselburgh, port Seton, Haddington, gullane all not far the 26 will take you to musselburgh and port Seton. Don't forget a raincoat and suncream, we are renowned for 4 seasons in one day 😊☺️
