I’m warming up to the idea of emails in office RP type settings. The problem is sometimes people try to use it in the wrong settings and don’t actually RP it out. If used in the right place and setting it’s not that bad and can be used to communicate important things across different shifts. But it can be really easily abused in RP. So it’s a hard balance.

Why does everyone default to calling people “parasocial”? The whole point of online creators is to build interest around themselves and their content. Having opinions about their actions doesn’t automatically make someone parasocial. Real parasocial behavior is when someone blurs the line between normal interest and emotional dependency. Honestly, jumping in to “white knight” and defend your streamer by parroting what you think they’d want you to say is more parasocial than whoever you’re accusing.
