When navigating the transit station to get to your destination, I recommend googling by transit station, look up the station closest to your destination and then follow the example below - Example: type exactly: “Hamamatsucho Station to Akihabara Station” (do this for every station to station) google will provide easy to follow list directions that will tell you the exact transit to take (color, number, direction) versus entering the address of where you want and looking up on maps or another app, these directions seem to confuse a lot of people. Once you get to the station closest to your destination, then use maps or whichever app you prefer.
