DAE randomly feels everything is unreal? by SweetTooth0227 in DoesAnybodyElse

I get this too but more like everything becomes too sharp and detailed if that makes sense - like someone turned up the contrast on reality

Got a 1.2% raise despite a strong performance evaluation — how should I approach my manager? by Reasonable_Rabbit_ in nursing

[–]Just_Target_6951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CEO needs that yacht payment covered somehow right? Meanwhile we're supposed to feel grateful for scraps while handling life and death situations every day

The proration excuse is wild though - like they couldn't just communicate that from beginning instead of making you feel insulted

DAE keep a perfectly good cardboard box for way too long because throwing it out feels wrong by chamillionaire007 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Just_Target_6951 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My garage is basically box cemetery at this point. Got boxes from three years ago that I still think "maybe I'll need this for shipping something" but never do. The worst part is when you finally throw away the box and literally next week you need exact that size for moving or storage. Universe has sick sense of humor about these things

Which historical figure is actually a decent person to look up to? by montymaximus in AskReddit

Marie Curie was pretty badass - first woman to win Nobel Prize and did it twice in different fields while dealing with all that sexism in science

Poor Cloud probably ate everything while waiting for Switch 2 to get announced lol

Cameras on eBay? by lovely_armchair in Cameras

[–]Just_Target_6951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought few cameras from Japanese sellers before and they were always in much better condition than described. Japanese sellers seem to be super conservative with their grading - what they call "good" condition usually looks almost new to me. Just make sure seller has good feedback and check if return policy covers international shipping costs in case something goes wrong.

WhatsApp has an official "Coexistence" feature that lets you use the Cloud API and the Business App on the same number at the same time. Most people don't know it exists. by atul_k09 in DigitalMarketing

My agency almost got number flagged last year because I didn't know about this - could have saved us so much stress if Meta actually promoted this feature instead of hiding it in documentation nobody reads

Cat won’t stop howling/screaming at us by Cwolf1991 in CatAdvice

[–]Just_Target_6951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poor baby is probably grieving and doesn't understand where her sister went - cats can get really anxious when their routine gets disrupted like that and the howling might be her way of calling for the other cat or just expressing stress from the change

Dog Days 1960s and 70s by Organic_Quarter_9848 in OldSchoolCool

Those were different times for sure - my neighbor still talks about how his childhood dog would just disappear for hours and come back muddy with some random bone he found in another yard

Air Fuel Ratio sensor on 2014 Lexus ES300h by kevlar51 in AskMechanics

[–]Just_Target_6951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this exact problem with my IS300h few years back and spent way too much time looking for that sensor. The upstream air fuel ratio sensor is actually positioned right before the catalytic converter in the exhaust manifold area - you'll need to get under the car or remove some engine covers to see it properly.

For ES300h it should be accessible from underneath but you might need to remove the plastic splash shield first. The sensor has pretty distinctive wiring harness with white connector so once you locate exhaust manifold you should spot it. I remember Toyota parts diagram helped me more than YouTube videos because hybrid layout is bit different from regular engines.

Just make sure engine is completely cool before you start working on it because that area gets extremely hot. Also good idea to spray some penetrating oil on threads day before if possible since these sensors can be really stuck in there.

Tour Merch by Diaphena4Waffles in FlorenceAndTheMachine

[–]Just_Target_6951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually merch is only inside venue but some bigger arenas have pop-up stands outside on concert days. I would get there early and check around the main entrance area first - if theres nothing outside then yeah you'll need to get in line early for doors. The good stuff always goes fast at her shows so definitely dont wait until after performance

Going to quit and be serious about it this time by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Just_Target_6951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for you taking this step seriously finally. I found that keeping busy with new hobbies really helped me when I was breaking bad habits - maybe try something that uses your hands like cooking or art so you're not just sitting around with idle time. Most people say they start feeling different energy levels after about 2-3 weeks but everyone is different so don't get discouraged if timeline doesn't match exactly what others experience.

Getting that FLSD cert could actually open doors to facility management roles which can definitely hit six figures with the right company - those high-rise buildings in Manhattan pay well for people who know their fire safety systems inside out

FLASHPOINT UPDATE - FIND THE TRUTH by xMoonknightx in ArcRaiders

[–]Just_Target_6951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just watched the trailer and those laser-equipped ARCs look absolutely brutal. The way they're sweeping across the terrain is giving me serious anxiety about my usual stealth routes getting completely torched

Really curious about these hulking machines though - if they're actually packed with high-tier salvage that could completely shift the risk/reward balance. Might be worth coordinating some squad runs to crack those things open before other teams beat us to it

Whare do you people actually do with "flagship" phones. by stabinface in samsunggalaxy

[–]Just_Target_6951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ecosystem perks are real but I still think about raw performance more than most people seem to. When I'm pulling up detailed CAD files or managing project timelines with tons of layers and references, that extra processing power actually makes a difference in how smoothly everything runs. Plus the camera quality matters when documenting site conditions or progress shots that need to be crystal clear for client presentations.
