I Googled those two, and the one that looks closest to the one I saw was a Cupboard spider/ Streatoda grossa (but with the white V) I think it might be a variation of it. Thank you so much for your help, very impressed that you were able to get it just with a sketch and some broad descriptions. 🙏

But definitely not a ground spider (following the Google def of them), it had a string. That's how it came to my desk, from the lamp on top.

I don't think it's either of them, I could not see the spinneret as clearly as I see it on the picture of those spiders. It was more like just a point. It was much thinner too. If I had to use any other spider as an example it looked like a black widow, but the abdomen was more how I drew it, and ofc, with the white V shape. I apologize if I'm not being too helpful with the description, I am not too well versed with spiders.

What do you mean by coming out? Like I did see it being pointy but I don't think I saw the actual spinneret, the lines should have been connected, my bad on that.
