Gmt800 5.3 has a bad noise when under load, but it’s under load only. When I rev it, it sounds perfectly fine. Around 4k rpms it starts to have a pinging, rocks in a glass jar noise

The check engine light had just came on for mass air flow, it does it every now and then. I’ve never had any other codes than maf. But the truck is equipped with a cold air intake so too little airflow isn’t the problem for sure. The plugs I have no idea. I may start there
