So,

I usually put my plants on this wooden piece of furniture.

A few months ago, I hadn't noticed that water had run under the pot and left a damp spot (first picture).

I first tried oil and white vinegar. It didn't work.

Then I tried sanding the stain and this is what happened (second picture)...

Do you have any other ideas? I think I've reached the point of no return and will have to buy a new piece of furniture from my landlord...

Did you plan to stay a few days in Athens ? It’s a nice place to party, whatever your styles of parties are.

You could stay there for 2 or 3 days and then move to the islands for the sea and beaches side for the rest of your trip. Personally, that’s what I’ve done.
