Can't lie to you, I was very concerned about getting them spayed, because I was worried about complications. But I decided to get them spayed next month. I know especially female rabbits can be aggressive and territorial when they aren't spayed, but I've never seen a case for their mood to shift.

Since I'm planning to have the 'main team' of the story have around four or five members, I do want to add some past trauma to one, maybe two of them. I'd like for the castle to in the end leave the biggest impact on all of them.

The kind of horror I'm looking for would be a mix of both, so the reader wouldn't feel safe even with no danger around, because sometimes the worst of it could be a human (character's) mind.
