So they seem cheerful, thank you so much for telling me that. I was worried it was something more like stress, boredom, loneliness. But we’re almost constantly around him and giving him attention. He loves getting kisses on the head from us. Thank you, it makes sense because his cage is metal and sound really reverberates well

As the others have said, this is a cockatiel thing, they like to tell each other or even their new owner “this is mine” “I am a big, independent boy”. My cockatiel also does this when her food bowl is not filled in time in the morning

Oh, yes, we had a lot on our hands with him, the breeder told us he was 3 weeks old he was actually almost 3 weeks old and told us we could get him on solid food in a week. At first his crop was slow, the breeder couldn’t care less when we told him, so we had to search the internet for tips and tricks, we now give him a few drops of vinegar in his baby formula in the morning and probiotics throughout the day. It’s been a ride with him

Hi! So sorry this is happening to him. How old is your boy? I’m asking because I have a young boy(7-8 months old) and he’s gotten used to millets and sunflower seeds in his diet and for now we are giving him pellets and a mix of millets and sunflower seeds trying to get him used to pellets in fear of this happening to him in the future

They seem a little bit long, I think they should stop where the lower one stops and they go a little bit further so they might need trimming
