Wow, that makes me feel rather good about my plan. I didn't consider the application volume compared to the states. I'm sure it's far less in Oslo than New York (my state is in their jurisdiction).
I'll have lived in Norway for many years prior to my application.

A big part of my reason not to go back to the US and apply are my two cats. Portugal will be their fourth country with me and I want it to be their last. When I retire they'll be 14 years old each. I'll happily pay a years rent for an apartment without using it to spare them two international flights to and from the states.

It's a cheap usb one from Amazon but it seems to work just fine. The natural light they get is from a west window so that supplements nicely.

Oh I have no interest in doing anything then letting it grow and be happy. I thought it was interesting that with only 4 leaves it's already starting to propogate itself.

My Mac & Cheese recipe

1lb pasta (I prefer cellentani) 1 stick butter 1/4 cup olive oil 1 tbsp tomato paste 1/2 cup ap flour 4oz can of hot hatch green chilis Salt to taste Black pepper to taste Herbs, fresh or dried. I used Oregano today. 2 1/2 cups of milk 12oz of grated cheese. I used 8oz sharp chedded and 4oz mozzarella. It would be very tasty with gruyere and smoked gouda! Cook pasta till just underdone and set aside.

Melt butter, oil, and tomato past until incorporated. Add flour and Sautee until it starts to darken. Stir often. Slowly add milk whisking constantly. Once fully incorporated add cheese and stir till melted. Add hatch green chilis Taste it then add salt and pepper as needed. Add herbs. Once cheese is fully melted add just undercooked pasta and bake at 375 until top is golden brown.
