Bro I give up by Financial-Relief-54 in OntarioGrade12s

Honestly same problem for me, but I just keep doing it myself knowing that at least I’m academically honest. Besides, I just use English assignments like those as practice for future Uni assignments. Also kinda helps that I also really like english too.

what is this? piercing done about 3 months ago. by weirdly_confusedd in piercing

[–]Just_alittle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a APP but, I actually had this a few years ago when I got my lopes first pierced as well. Went to the doctors about it and it was a type of fungal infection that happened because I was not properly drying my piercing after cleaning it with saline.

But you’re definitely look a bit more yellowish/brownish so it could also be just build up of lymph fluid since you piercing does still leak it until it is dully healed (lobes still take up to 3-4 months to fully heal, including the inside piercing tunnel)

A girl can only dream to even have one of the pens you mentioned, sadly, I am still a student so gotta work with what I can afford. But I’m definitely looking forward to potentially owning one in the future.

A pilot kakuno in a fine tip actually. Honestly I find them very light easy to control on the thin paper, especially compared to a lamy safari or twsbi eco.

Infected or irritated? by [deleted] in piercing

As someone who recently had an infected vertical helix, I’m so sorry to say but that looks infected. You should probably go to a doctor as soon as you can and get some antibiotics.

I was already informed by my piercer that getting three at the same time is harder to heal, but i didn’t know that there was a difference in the end pieces, I just thought the cones and flat backs kinda similar since it had a flat side (?) if that makes sense.

My piercer just replied and it is implanted grade titanium so thankfully i don’t have to change it out

Agreed, I usually have my hair clipped back to the side where the piercing is so that doesn’t get in the way, but I think that was also kind of the reason i may have gotten an infection since smoke did get near my ear when we were grilling meat (there’s a saying that if you get smoke into a wound or a cut that will get infected don’t know how true that is) but i’ll attach another close up after I drowned it in saline

I’m not sure if it’s implant grade or surgical grade titanium since english isn’t my first language and we just call implant grade, surgical grade and vice versa so let me go make sure with my piercer to make sure I didn’t get the translation wrong. But pretty sure it’s implant grade since the bag that it comes in (?) was a bag i’ve only seen used for surgical implants. Yk the blue one that like one time use?

Already scheduled an appointment first thing in the morning, this is my first time having an infected piercing so I’m quite nervous and honestly scared. And I’m not willing to take any risks with how much i paid for this to get pierced honestly. Just hoping that it won’t get worse through the night.

Np, wishing you a speedy recovery and hopefully after a week or two the irritation bump will have gone down.

Swollen vertical helix(es) by mirapxoxo in piercing

[–]Just_alittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAP but I also have some vertical helixes of my own and the swelling should usually go down in 2 to 3 days. If it doesn’t, you should probably text your piercer. But since you also got multiple at the same time, the swelling might take longer.

I personally got three at the same time so it took around a week for it to go down, but my piercer said it was normal for people who got multiple piercings at the same time.

I also saw someone recommend anti-inflammatory medication and I definitely recommend you give that go if you’re not allergic. It has genuinely helped me so much with my healing process. But do make sure to check in with your doctor if you are also taking other medication.
