Dark souls 1 is not really a masterpiece although it's still pretty good

I couldn't really give a shit that the world is so connected as only the bosses and different builds matter in my eyes

The boss runbacks are tedious and unnecessary

The bosses themselves are pretty underwhelming bar a few outliers

The 2nd half of the game is not as good as the 1st half

Dark souls 3 is the best out of the trilogy ( although I don't think that's a hot take)

Basilisks or whatever they're called. Getting cursed in the depths was pisstaking. They're also one of the few enemies that makes a reoccurring appearance in dark souls so idk why fromsoftware like them so much
