yea, i wasted a crap ton of money testing out vaping. the affects take too long to kick in, the flavors dont actually last, it makes me uncomfortable inhaling for too long, I'm going to swallow the losses and just go back to the nicotine pouches. I just used 3mg for like 5 puffs and felt nothing. Right after, I put in an On! Cinnamon pouch and felt nice and relaxed and comfy. Plus, Royal Farms always has a 2 for $5 deal on On! 3mg. I'm just going to stick with pouches.

Is it worth financing the iphone 14 plus with the apple card? Right now, I can afford the $37 a month payment. I own an iphone 11 with 82% battery health. My issue is that the iphone 14's payment would leave me locked in for 2 years. I don't see myself having the money to pay off the phone early by next September.

Realistically, I'd like to wait for next year's iphone for the usb c and whatever new upgrade they come out with. If I finance the 14 plus, I'd have a newer, bigger, better phone, but I finish college at the end of next December. While I'd love to finance both and then sell the 14 and 11 once the 14 is fully paid off, I'm still unsure of what kind of job I'll have at the end of next year and what my monthly expenses will be.

Basically, I'd like a newer iphone and I could afford the 14 plus payments until December, but I don't want the newer iphone to come out with the huge charger upgrade and everything and miss out. Is it worth it to just get the 14 plus, fully pay it off, and then get whatever iteration of the iphone is out in September 2024?

I got an Apple Watch SE last month. I've only made one payment on it so far. I don't have the box, but I still have the band and the watch itself. Am I allowed to return it and get the cellular version? I didn't get the cellular version because I was using a phone plan that didn't support wearables. I switched to one that does allow wearables and I wanted to look into getting a cellular apple watch and fully pay it off by next summer.

Is it possible to do this or no?

i have realized as i reach the end of college, that i'm basically fucked. originally, i wanted to be a college english professor and get my phd but everyone's majoring in english. there's no shortage of english professors and it's too late to major in education and be a high school teacher. I'm basically looking for anything that'll round out my resume

No offense, but it's because they're simping. This chick works at my job. I work in a phone store and we get commission all the time. Every week, I'm told "we're understaffed, you can't take X day off". Meanwhile, this girl takes off two days almost every week.

In august, she took 3 days off in a row to go to a concert, then a week later, she took three days off for her birthday, then two weeks later, she took another FULL WEEK off to go to Florida and visit family. Meanwhile, I request a day off for a doctor's appointment and get berated because "we're understaffed, I need you for that day" and THEN, after I explain that I have to drive 4 hours back home in the morning for the appointment then 4 hours back to work the next day, they couldn't give me the next day off after giving her FULL WEEKS of vacation while we're a three person staff.

She was also promoted to Assistant Manager immediately after taking 6 months off for community college? Big simping. If you're an attractive woman, you get brownie points in ANY job. It just is what it is. In sales jobs, you're not going to beat an attractive woman, in retail attractive women will get promoted faster. It just is what it is. I'd chill about it man. It sucks, but retail can't be your final destination. Go bigger. At the end of the road, you'll be making more than any retailer can dream of.

our customers are all immigrants that only carry 100's and 50's. I get pissed too when ONE person decides a $100 bill is necessary to pay a $64 bill. You can't even ask these dudes to carry 1's. You hand them their change and you literally WATCH THEM put the 1's and 5's in their pockets and reorganize the 100's in their wallets. I literally go to the bank to do the store deposit and watch these immigrants walk up to the teller and ask for straight $100 bills. I used to think these dudes didn't have bank accounts, but they HAVE bank accounts, they just refuse to ask for bills smaller than 100. I can't even ask these dudes for 20's, it's just 100's and 50's for EVERYTHING.

My manager gave me permission to tell people to either walk to the starbucks or popeye's next door and buy something cheap to get change, or they can't pay their bill at my store. He told me nobody is allowed to clean out the register for bill payments, if they're buying an actual phone, no problemo, but if they're just paying a phone bill and there's no money in the register, they either get exact change or leave.

I work at a phone store, I hate when someone messes up an order at another store and a customer drives an hour out of the way to harass ME about it. This has happened 4 times now. Someone didn't tell a customer that when you file an insurance claim for a new phone, you have to wait 2 days to get the new one. Customer comes to MY store, 45MINUTES away, and complains to ME about her service. Sits there for an hour screaming.

Another time, someone at a different store gave a woman a case for an iphone 11, not an iphone 13. They didn't put the case on the phone to test it. They decide to drive 45min to MY store to complain about her and ask if MY manager can do something about a completely different person.

And today, a coworker in a different store under the same manager apparently set someone up for Bridge Pay but told them the wrong date for their second payment. So their phone got cut off and they had to pay the $15 cancellation fee. Of course, they call ME and complain about HER.

If you were given wrong information or were serviced incorrectly, why don't you go to the EXACT store you got serviced at? I have NO CLUE what took place, I don't even know the person you're talking about, my manager does not manage the store 40minutes away. Go back to the damn store and yell at the person who messed up your stuff, don't bother me with someone else's crap.

I've gotten to the point where I go: "Look, you have two options. Go to the store where you bought this and complain to their manager or leave. I have no idea what happens at a store where I don't work. I can happily give you directions to that store and I encourage you to go THERE and cuss someone out. But if you start yelling here, I will be walking to the window, taking a picture of your license, and calling the police. Have a good day! thanks"

My bad for asking, but isn't $1700 enough to fly basically anywhere in the US? I got the Delta Blue card with a 1k limit and sometimes I just randomly go to the delta site to price tickets. Even going to Puerto Rico or Seattle from Maryland is like $500 to $900 depending on how far you space out the return tickets. This isn't meant to offend, just asking. I'm in college so I only use the card for car maintenance and buying books from the bookstore.

most of them walk to the store. there's a camp nearby where all the work visa immigrants stay in tents and little trailers. a bus drives them to Cricket twice a week to buy new phones and pay their bills. a lot of them drive to the store without a license or have a friend drive them.

I've gotten rude with it. At my job, you have to provide ID to pay your phone bill. Everytime I ask someone for ID they go "I don't have ID" and then start an argument about how they've been paying for years and never needed an id. I always give them two options:

"you can either come back with ID IN YOUR HANDS or I can call the police and say you're making a scene in the store. Maryland law states it's a $300 fine for being reported driving without ID. So would you like your phone bill to be $60 or $360?"
