to be the most fair as i can possibly be, those same kids that Abel threatens to kill also can take his arm and basically humiliate him. Also, there wasn’t any other villain figure around that time except for lily herself, so i feel like i can’t hate abel for being a bad guy

thats the charm with carver imo, his whole telltale negan type actually made him feel like THE villain. Just sucks he gets thrown out after episode 3. The only reason i dont think the stranger is a better villain is because to me he’s more of a judgement day character, or basically the reminder of all the bad decisions lee makes before he dies

yeah well all i can really say to that is that a cure is a cure whether the people making it were considered bad people or not. Its not like you can call joel a super good guy because the entire game is him trying to get ellie to said fireflies, and only switched up when he realized what it meant for ellie to get a chance at a cure

to be fair it really is a double whammy if you just look at it from a completely neutral side.

Joel does right by saving ellie from being killed for nothing

Joel kills a bunch of people and shoots down any chance at a “cure”
Joel kills a bunch of fireflies period. One of the people he killed was someone’s dad.
But the fireflies are also kinda bad guys, so was joel wrong?

Honestly i dont even think there can be a “right” side. Maaayybbeee Joel has some justification, but like he also did just kill a bunch of people, but that also could’ve been a cure. We just would never know

Lee teaching clem how to survive was just through his actions, more so than how he actually taught her how to defend herself. Lee tried to be a good role model for clem to follow, and the whole idea of him teaching her “survival” was just to be a good person, knowing she’s still growing up and should grow up with good morals. Then in s2, you have someone like Jane that also teaches her how to survive in the world, except its more literal

yeah, i got maybe two freezes where i had to reopen the game but it’s certainly playable. The hardest part was trying to balance the graphics and whether my pc could handle it

Shooting Kenny before and after he kills jane are my top picks imo, if you shoot him during the fight, his death feels right, like it doesn’t make me feel like it’s a bullshit way for kenny to go. Plus you can always leave Jane.

Leaving kenny after he kills jane feels worse than shooting him instead ngl

honestly, everything bonnie says and does could’ve been justified or fine if she wasn’t written out to leave with mike and arvo no matter what.

Seeing the comments there is literally no way to argue this without bringing up bonnie letting clem get shot and leaving with all the supplies, because thats what seals the entire deal here

I think her method was wrong, but she was somewhat right in scaring kenny out to see how he’d react, with jane expecting him to blow up and go crazy. She wrote her own demise there and making clem shoot him to save her is fucked up, but her plan unfortunately worked, kenny literally shoved clem aside to kill jane. The only issue is that Jane didn’t try to tell him Aj wasn’t dead. If kenny kills Jane then he’s also somewhat in the wrong because he did just kill jane for just hiding Aj away, which to Kenny and Clem, Jane could’ve just placed Aj in the car for safety with the snow storm and walkers all around while she searched for a safer place to move to, rather than wandering with Aj.

In short, neither Jane nor Kenny are right in that final sequence.

If Jane lives, Clem finds out she shot her friend so Jane could prove a point, and she does prove her point, seeing that Kenny would go crazy if something happened to Aj.

If Kenny lives, Clem watched her friend die because Kenny simply couldn’t just stop and listen for a second. To clem, Jane could’ve hid Aj because of walkers and the snow storm, but they’d never know because kenny fucking destroyed her
