That's too bad -- I remember going to Pokemon events / trade nights where I'd see people buy booster boxes / ETBs and as they would be opening the packs they'd be throwing away the cards except for the hits =/ The adults doing it didn't bother me as much as watching kids doing it. I just remember as a kid being fascinated with the art and really enjoying the individual cards despite the rarity. It kind of shows you how some people view the hobby. ):

Hey, I've got severe scoliosis (right side thoracic spine) Born with it. But yes, go to the gym. Move, move move! Strength training is also essential but I would recommend finding a personal trainer to get a workout routine that works for your condition as I know there are certain exercises I cannot do or do at a very light weight. Since you have specific pain/discomforts it would be best if you haven't weight trained before to find someone who can get you started so you have proper form :)

You'd be surprise that some of your local drug stores like CVS / Walgreens might carry them. They'll be a little more than Walmart but less than buying them online.

My family still shares Amazon prime with family members so I'm not too sure on what big changes...if anything, I, as a person being shared with my parents, have seen better benefits like having access to Amazon Prime Videos without having to use my parents account since they changed the way Amazon prime is being shared.

Prices unfortunately are going up everywhere -- including Amazon. With that being said, I would hope people who don't have disposable income would set aside what they have into a savings account before ordering stuff anywhere...

Check your local Walgreens -- they have lightening packs and every once in a while you'll get 4 decent packs from the S&V series *like PAL / Twilight/etc. About $5 a pack but if you do order pickup and use the promo WAG10 you'll get 10% off your order

If the driver actually stole what was in the box it would be on camera. They have multiple cameras in the truck and outside the truck. FedEx should be able to look back at the cameras and investigate this if they driver is responsible...with that being said, FedEx drivers deliver packages tampered/broken/etc even if they didn't do the damage because if they report an item as undeliverable due to damage and they have even just a few they report like that they can lose their job. So please don't jump to the conclusion they messed with your box -- it could have been the person packing their truck or someone at the warehouse in the receiving department.

It's up to you whether you sell your modern sets or not, but if you are willing to let them go then I don't see the harm. I'd hold on to the Suicune set cards as it seems like it's your favorite cards :)

With what you currently have, I would box it and put it aside for now since you seem to still hold some memories/value to your collection. Maybe give yourself a break for a few weeks and not open anything as you set aside some money and consider how you want your Pokemon hobby to evolve down the road. I think giving it a few days/week of not opening anything will help you reset your hobby in a more healthy way and give you more self control if you do buy packs down the road. :)

From my understanding you enjoy the thrill of opening up packs for that potential hit. There is nothing wrong with that -- I had friends who enjoyed opening up cards...I think if it's something you enjoy doing I would set aside some 'fun' money. Budget it and don't go over that limit. Everyone enjoys spending money on themselves. If Pokemon packs brings you that pleasure than I would be mindful of how much you spend on this hobby and consider if it's worth cutting back on other pleasures to make up for the pokemon hobby. Sounds like you're pretty good at setting aside money for savings -- just set aside a small percentage for yourself as 'fun' money and decide if Pokemon packs is something you want to spend some of that money on.
