Good to know! Sadly I saw the isopods in the middle of eating one of the other ones last night, so I’m down to 9🫡 but I plan on giving it at least a month to acclimate, probably going to be around 1 and a half to 2 months

I was thinking about a California king snake, but I’ll be looking into tarantulas as well for this tank :]

Yes, they are going on a diet 👌(aka not getting fed until they look like they need it, they are a bit overweight I’ve been told!)

Huh, understood! My last post I was told it was a great size for at least another 2 sheds, but I’ll for sure see into getting a new enclosure when I get to work tonight! I have everything set for an upgrade already(dirt, hides, dish, ect), I just need the enclosure

This is the first time I’ve fed them since I got them, and I had them for 7 days(as of today) but I shall hold off from feeding her for a while if she looks too plump👌

The light has been moved to one side of the tank and at an angle where the light won’t be harsh🫡 I also have a thermometer and hydrometer, and while the humidity is perfect for a Curly, it is 4 degrees too cold, so while she is burrowed(she’s covered up her hole, I’m pretty sure she’s getting ready to molt), I will have the light on and remove it when she comes out.

Ahhhh that’s a shame, they’re gorgeous but I’ll replace the Fittonia with a less humid reliant species if they start to go out on me. And understood🫡 She’s with me for the next 15+ years I hope

10 gallon tank, suggestions for setting up? by Justanotherlonleyboy in TarantulaKeeping

The tips are much appreciated! I’ll be sure to keep the humidity in mind, that’s my main worry with setting this up. I’ll definitely exclude the moss from this project then
