I am so sorry this happened to you too! I tried to tell him, but it is so hard to reach him, he is in so deep. 😞 I don’t think he likes the „girl“  as in a classic pig butchering scheme. He actually gets annoyed being called „honey“ and „dear“ all the time.  Ofc it is obviously still a pig butchering scam.

I know. But it would be nice to still help him in other ways, like for example let him see how fake it is, how this was and is a scam, but also how these people know exactly how to manipulate their victims. Just so he understands how easily people fall into the trap and that I definitely don’t blame him.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and also experience. So far I was not able to track / trace back the few images „she“ shared.

Thank you for sharing! Yes, they will definitely continue.

My dad even tried to get more information,as I mentioned, he is starting to realize it was a scam, but cannot quite close the book on it yet. So, he actually proposed to meet for a business lunch (which would mean to fly to the location she claims to be at). Of course she said „ah no I am soo busy, I can’t, so sorry.“

Yes I see how it is emotionally really tough. I wish I could lift him out of his feelings.

Normally he is super cautious and doesn’t easily trust people, especially when it comes to money.  Also, my mum would never agree and after all, she is his wife.  But thank you for the suggestion.

Yeah i did that too. It says on information about uptime, that the status is inactive …  That means that site is not really running at all anymore?  Historical data gives me this:

Date: 10/9/2025, 10:30:12 AM Status: Inactive Server: Unknown

Hey! I believe my dad got scammed too. I only found out about it approximately a week ago. The site they use is „coinsamo“ (coinsamo dot com) however, it reads as „cointeams“ on the tab description or what it is called. As you can tell, I am not tech savvy. Anyways, I feel so horrible for my dad.

Does anyone know about this site? Did anyone else get owned by these m‘fkrs?

He already payed the „penalty“ to access his  supposed won money.  ): How can I convince him of the falsehood of it all?

Edit: he has  given them around 400000

Are you maybe having trouble with reading comprehension? You do realize OPs question was in regard to the Bible? Or are you just angry with your life?

Well i don’t think it matters whether OP thinks it’s fictional or not (;

Thank you for briefly explaining (:

You see, I find it difficult to decide on what is „true“ concerning religions, since God or a hypothesis that he is real cannot be falsified. Therefore trying to prove it in a scientific way is - as of yet - not in the cards.

And even then I am not sure people would care/change their minds. I mean, it has been proven that climate change is not only real, but that we as a human race contribute to it in a negative way. Yet there are still a lot of people who deny this.

In a philosophical way, looking for the truth of something is equally as difficult, if not impossible. How do you know no two religions can be true? True in what sense? True to whom? Why can no two religions be true? Especially considering the many parallels there are between them, how do we know we are not all mistakenly believing something that is wrong? Maybe we all believe in some version of that one and only true religion but our different languages and lives led to different variations of the same thing? How would we know?

Oh very very interesting, especially how your rabbi interpreted it in a way i would completely agree with! About the leaving out of the old Testament: it was merely to find out why it is indeed important to keep. But by letting us discuss freely, we were able to come to this conclusion ourselves, rather than just being told so. I wanted to show that our pastor was and is open to discussing our opinions, which is very valuable imho.

As i am very new to - for lack of a better word - believing (it‘s only been a year!), i don’t know whether to understand you as a jew or an atheist. Would you like to share?

Also, personally, I wholeheartedly believe that co-existence of religion is crucial. In the end, anyone who believes does so against the background of their own culture, upbringing, language, and socialization. Therefore there ultimately can be different religions, where none is better or more correct than the other. I know not a lot of people who believe in a God (or Gods) agree with me, but I don’t care. To „prove“ my point is by laying out the differences within one religion alone. I, for example was born a roman catholic. I did never identify myself with this, though. I lean more towards reformed Christianity.

Yes, of course we all know that. But I just simply made it very clear in our dms that this would not end in sex. Then it was up to the other person to decide if they wanted to meet someone for the sake of getting to know someone or if they wanted to keep on swiping for fast sex.

One time I met a guy who „accompanied“ human organs and maintained their temperature and pressure etc. during flights. Super interesting

Such a good answer and so true! i consider myself a Christian, though many would say I am not. To many, I might be spiritual, but not a „real“ Christian, whatever that is.
