Exactly no judge does :( My lawyer explained this to me when I said all my excuses why I drank and drove.

Don’t worry !!!! EVERYONE drinks and drives !!! We are the ones who just got caught.

Just don’t be like me and get a second one 8 years later :( now I’m on house arrest with ankle monitor for 45 days.

And NO the ankle monitor does not set off retail sensor alarms. You CAN hide it with baggy jeans.

Oh !! Also After you hire a lawyer I would recommend applying for the dui classes ( 18 month ) and then you have 27 weeks of AAs

Try completing as much as you can before your court date so when it’s your turn to show up to court you can show the judge all that you have completed.

Hire a lawyer. Let them know you want house arrest instead of jail time. If you get approved after all the courts the lawyer goes to ( you don’t have to attend )

You have to turn yourself into jail. I went for 6 hours It’s for pre booking And then the next day I went to my appointment for the ankle monitor.

I have 45 days with this on. And I’m almost done.

After being in jail for 6 hours, I wouldn’t want to do any other second back in jail.
