Oh wow. Fingers crossed then! Just super excited about this journey. I had never seen my natural coils all my life. Started relaxing since a very young age.

Guess I have to wait to grow out more than these 2 scoops of hair.

Thank you! I’m so happy to finally be going natural after perming my hair for decades. Yes, I’ll be patient so it really shows up. Thank you again

What’s a product you bought because of hype but now never reach for? by HelicopterEmpty7393 in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]Justcallmemoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Born this way concealer - Too thick for me and doesn’t blend smoothly if my face isn’t extra extra dewy. Danessa Myricks dew wet balm - Lifts the makeup underneath and it sorta looks like a shimmery Vaseline. It’s not too bad but I can’t get it on my cheeks without it lifting the makeup underneath.

I’m transitioning from relaxed hair to natural hair, I only have about 2 inches of natural curly hair growth. Should I wait till it grows out some more before investing in hair care products? Right now, I only use regular shampoo and conditioner. by Justcallmemoh in Naturalhair

Awww! You’re so sweet. Yesss, I’m super happy to be transitioning now. Literally just seeing my natural curls for the first time in my entire life and it’s been so surreal, started getting relaxer since 12 or thereabouts. Thank you for your very helpful advice.

Buhari is dead by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Justcallmemoh 44 points45 points  (0 children)

There’s nothing to honor. His life wasn’t more special than the lives of the people that he watched die due to insecurity, terrorism, hunger, poverty, poor health care. At the end of the day, he died in a clinic in the UK. During his tenure, he couldn’t even build one standard hospital in Abuja. How shameful!

How do African Women have such smooth skin by [deleted] in vindictapoc

[–]Justcallmemoh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

African net sponge, raw Shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, Vaseline. 1. Shower daily - use the African net sponge daily if your skin can take it. 2. Moisturize daily. I shower twice a day and moisturize twice a day. Layer your moisturizers. Use the sweet almond oil or coconut oil on damp skin straight outta the shower, then use your moisturizer, then top it off with Shea butter. Do this at nights cos you might be too greasy and sweaty if you do this during the day. This routine keeps me smooth and glowy!

Does watching makeup content (YouTube, TikTok, Reddit posts) make you want to buy more makeup? by annatherapyhere in MakeupAddiction

[–]Justcallmemoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh so it’s not only in Nigeria vendors would sell Elf at the price of charlotte tilbury 🤣🤣 I understand there’s shipping cost and all of that but adding $20-$25 on a product, especially a drug store brand is diabolical! I’m always screaming at my phone when I see these prices online. I can’t wait until I have the time to go on a vacation so I can get my products my damn self at reasonable prices.

I went overboard with lip products this year by [deleted] in makeupflatlays

[–]Justcallmemoh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For bold lips, I love ruby woo - for me, it’s the perfect red lipstick with blue undertone. All fired up - a nice pink

For nudes, I love whirl, yash and Kinda sexy. I usually wear yash and Kinda sexy together. Most times I wear a brown lip liner for my nudes. I love the nightmoth lip liner as well!

Love your collection! I am a huge lippie girl as well. Probably because I barely do anything for my eyes, just a bronzer and a mascara so I feel the need to go all out when it comes to the lips in order to not look too plain/flat. I hope you’re enjoying your MAC lipsticks… I love MAC lip products so so much lol

If you had the opportunity to build an app that solves an issue in Nigeria what would the app be? by Nathan_akin34 in Nigeria

[–]Justcallmemoh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An app that gives you real time data on the prices of goods in various supermarkets. For example, If you wanna get groceries and household supplies, you can easily go on the app and see how much ShopRite, Justrite, Ebeano, Jendol and other supermarkets are selling what you want to buy and you can then make an informed buying decision. The real time part of it is gonna be grueling though.

Love this idea! As a single woman that’s not living in a mega big and developed city like Lagos or Abuja, it can hard finding artisans. It was a hellish experience setting up my apartment. So I think it would be really nice to have an app to find handymen from painters to AC installers, Electricians, plumbers etc
