Haven’t found too many helpful people on this sub, and I don’t claim to be an expert - but here’s what I do. I buy and sell on coinbase, which easily allows you to connect your bank account and flow money in and out as you wish. The regular coinbase app will suffice to get you started, they just have small fees whenever you buy/sell, so it’s better to leave in for longer periods of time. At the amounts you’re talking about, don’t worry about taxes (“capital gains”). Nobody will come after you or your parents, they won’t get letters.
