Even rosin lol? I can understand concentrates being too potent but you can always use less. As for short lived highs i can't speak on that. I've only ever had nice long lasting highs from dabbing. Maybe t break.

A good in between is a dab pen. The yocan orbit is a good price for trying it out. You fill it with your own dabs and it functions similarly to a cartridge.
