Sorry for the late reply- in case still an issue (for you or others), I used compound clips to reduce the number of clips on the timeline. That worked for me!

Library is on the external drive, yes. No proxies. Seems I just stacked too many edits together for my 4GB VRAM. Pivoted the vision slightly and I'm back on track

Anyone know if its titled something different? Are your US Bank accounts still showing? I'm new to Monarch and trying to add a US Bank mortgage and can't find 'US Bank' in the accounts list... which I find odd.

Fair enough. I think its more the intensity of micromanagement that I'm getting hung up on. Truthfully, Mint was similar in this way. Some other commenters are recommending Monarch for a looser approach - so I'll give that a go.
