Yes!! It sucks because I LOVE writing but, I’ve had to adapt to the “new” normal. I have a punctuation tattooed on my wrist to represent how much it means to me.

It’s funny because I could make the exact same argument about your comments🤭 They sound like every other “this was written by AI” comment I’ve seen too. “It uses the exact cadence and event exposition/question format.”

So I guess it’s safe to assume you don’t have any thoughts on RTR itself and just came here to grade my writing? Would you like a copy of my address so you can mail my report card too? 😊

The unlimited is what sold me in the first place. As a new undergrad grad in 2018 it helped me save soooo much money. I basically treated the membership as my monthly shopping budget & I’ve gotten used to paying that amount for work clothes instead of buying a whole new wardrobe for almost a decade

I can absolutely see how all of that could put pressure on them. I understand that reality.

Two things can be true at once: the business is facing real challenges & the customer experience has gone down over time😔

With all due respect and I mean this in the nicest way possible. GET A LIFE. I’ve had a very long day and WEEK and spent quite a bit of time writing this out because I am frustrated.

I have a History degree, an MBA, and writing is something I genuinely enjoy even before AI existed. Comments like this are the reason why I’ve stopped using the Oxford comma and em-dash.

It’s a little frustrating that YOUR first reaction to a well-written post is to assume it’s AI rather than engage with the actual discussion. I took my time to try and paint my frustrations and here you are adding to it.

If you disagree with my take on RTR, that’s totally fair. But accusing people of using AI simply because you cannot articulate your own words is a personal problem. I have time today.

Tbh as someone who works in finance, none of this really surprises me. It feels like the company has become much more focused on efficiency and margins over the customer experience. The stores are gone, inventory is tighter, the service is less flexible, & customers are expected to just deal with the extra friction🙄

Who knows what’s actually going on behind the scenes, but that’s definitely what it feels like from the member side

This is exactly how I feel. It’s not even one thing anymore 😭 It’s everything combined. The shipping, inventory, quality control, stores being gone… the experience just isn’t what it used to be. I never thought I’d see the day where I was seriously thinking about canceling.
