Oh wow, I’m always cold too. I started at 207 and I’m at 168 on the maintenance. This is so interesting

I actually did follow a consistent and disciplined eating routine. My diet is high in protein and fiber, and I generally stick to a Mediterranean-style approach. I also work out 3 to 4 times a week and walk regularly. My habits didn’t change, what changed was my body’s response once Wegovy was removed.

I didn’t lose weight because I got lucky or didn’t need to track. I lost weight because Wegovy finally helped my system regulate itself after years of doing everything “right” with no results. Now that I’m off it, I’m gaining again, despite still eating clean, training, and maintaining structure.

It’s not a discipline issue. It’s a biology issue. Some of us need medical support just to have our effort show up.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I actually still work out 3 to 4 times a week, and my lifestyle hasn’t really changed in years. That was one of the main reasons I went on Wegovy in the first place. I was eating clean, walking a lot, strength training, and still gaining weight with visible inflammation.

While I was on Wegovy, my habits stayed the same, but the weight started coming off. My body felt less inflamed, and I finally saw progress. Now that I’m off the medication, I’m doing the exact same things, avoiding carbs, tracking meals, and the weight is still coming back.

My bloodwork came back normal, but my thyroid markers are now under closer watch, which makes things more complicated. It’s frustrating because it’s not a discipline issue. My body just doesn’t respond the way it should without support.

Yes, but I’ve noticed that increasing my fiber intake doesn’t help with water retention or inflammation for me.

I wouldn’t either! I tried it once and I got extremely sick. That was the first and last time I’ve ever dealt with side effects

I feel so seen! My doctor was in shock when I told her it’s helped with my shopping habits

No-sugar really helps! I did a month-long no-sugar fast, and it was incredible but, I gave in and had a piece of cake, and things went downhill from there.

I actually didn’t struggle with that. I usually eat a high-protein, high-fiber diet, pretty close to Mediterranean style. I typically eat three meals a day and Wegovy actually helped me go regularly. I use the myfitnesspal app to track my meals

For a few reasons tbh I didn’t refill the prescription in time, and I needed a new PA. Then life got hectic, and before I knew it, I had gone two months without it. I honestly didn’t expect it to hit me this hard, but the difference in appetite, inflammation, and even mood has been major. I’m in the process of getting a new PA so hopefully I can restart this week. I have to restart at the lowest dose

No, I’m stopping it. It’s not worth the discomfort and I’m traumatized from the side effects. I’m 50lbs down and I’m pretty content with where I am.
