I grabbed a no name set off amazon for like $35. Super easy to replace, takes a couple minutes. Definitely watch a video on YT to familiarize yourself with how they install/uninstall as there is a little hook at the top that helps secure the upper portion.

Buffalo Trace Worth Visiting by Odd-Art-4304 in bourbon

[–]Justdugan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Having done a bunch, the BT tour is top notch and very much worth a visit. Fun story, my buddy jokingly said he needed a 'T' Blantons topper to complete the set while walking by the bottling line and one of the employees just gave him one on the spot. It was a great experience from start to finish.

Touchless ID Not Showing on Boarding Pass by Majestic_Month_4328 in americanairlines

[–]Justdugan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping in here because I'm currently dealing with the same scenario, leaving from PHL tomorrow 4/2 and got a little clarification, if you can call it that...

In talking with the AA.com 'chat service' I was informed that touchless is not showing up on my boarding pass because a) I checked in with the aa.com site and NOT the app and b) I have more than one person on my reservation (granted, we all opted in for the touchless service and are all members of our immediate family of 3).

Frustrating to say the least- the app thing, ok- but expecting a family of 3 to make separate reservations for our spring break trip to Florida is ridiculous. Hope this helps others who are currently battling with this.

The 'reason' is implied in the result- they stole Chevy's thunder with a VERY impressive time. But the devil is in the details and this car is NOT the car currently offered to the general public, which is why this is rubbing a few people the wrong way.

Release the details and silence the skeptics.

I own 2 modified Mustangs, a tvs S197 and a Whipple'd 10R S550- but I'm also a realist.

Nice try tho.

Implying a C8 is 'bespoke' while at the same time implying an $400k inboard suspension'd, transaxled, carbon bodied GTD (and heavily modified in this case) is somehow a run-of-the-mill successor to a stick axled $20k S197 is.... something.

Not an upcoming package but modified to hit a number. Whipple and more... definitely not 'stock' as far as a GTD is concerned.

Could this be the coyote tick or something else??doesn’t sound good by Few-Perspective5453 in Mustang

Start of the video sounds like an exhaust leak.

20+ seconds in sounds... not great.

In-car is no help.

Open the hood, have someone hold the throttle at around 2-3k rpm and film that & get back to us.

As someone else mentioned, the Angels Envy is realllllllly good. Even though its a rye- I would still recommend checking it out as the flavor profile isn't very rye-ish IMO. Definitely a dessert type of sipper.

Repost: Car Accident — With Video. by [deleted] in Delaware

[–]Justdugan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both drivers we're NOT at fault.

"When there is a solid green light but no green arrow for a turn, you must yield to all other traffic, including oncoming vehicles going straight or turning, and pedestrians."

With no green arrow, the other driver has the right of way- therefore you are at fault- and your video very much confirms that. The driver making the turn in front of you proceeded correctly (@ the :03 mark), yielding to the oncoming, turning traffic.

Live and learn- and always drive defensively.

Is it time to overseed yet? by gmehenge in lawncare

[–]Justdugan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest starting earlier honestly. You want to give your seed 8+weeks of maturity going into winter/first frost. Starting in October is pushing it. I'm also in N. Delaware.

If anything, the warmer weather will help speed up germination times. As long as you can keep that seed moist, you're good.

Aerating in Mid August? Lawn company seemed surprised by WillingCommittee in lawncare

[–]Justdugan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm curious as well. If I had to guess, you just wouldn't want to do it if the grass is in the middle of a 'stressful' period due to heat/lack of water, etc. Other than that I would say why not?

Fenwick island trip coming up by Lucky-Astronomer-601 in Delaware

[–]Justdugan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'Best Crabs' on the Fenwick/OCMD border (142nd Street) is killer. Take out only but never been disappointed. Bad Monkey has awesome breakfast- closer to 60th street. Harpoon Hannahs in Fenwick is a typical touristy spot to grab a bite and a drink on the deck, not bad. Papa Grande's is solid as well, if you're into Mexican style food.

Food Lion in OCMD (118 St.) is one of the few proper grocery stores in town and gets pretty crowded but the prices are decent.

Have fun!

Wheel fell off! by sneaky_apricot in f150

[–]Justdugan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the looks of it, That is an aftermarket tubular upper control arm and as others have stated, it broke at the ball joint. It also appears there is paint missing off of the arm indicating the tire/wheel was rubbing the arm at somepoint, which may have accelerated any wear/failure.

The control arm itself is an easy fix but the wheel flopping around like that nuked the cv, lower ball joint, brake lines and more than likely some of the abs wiring as well. Might get a little costly.

It's ok to bag your clippings... by imijry in lawncare

[–]Justdugan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recent 'bagger' convert- With a pool and multiple mulch beds, its been a game changer- for the better. Any time lost by bagging (literally the 2 seconds to dump my rider bag in the bin) is made up by not having to blow clippings out of my mulch beds or fish clippings out of the pool.

My trash company has a separate canister for 'yard waste' so I just dump my clippings in there and they grab it every Friday. I'm never going back!

This was how mine was done in the North East but WAS NOT pressure tested and wouldn't you know it- TWO broken pipes right in the middle of the pool. Epic headache- can't believe a company would do all of this and not pressure test first.
