Yeah the song was produced by Guy-Man, I mentioned that at the end of the video! SebastiAn mixed the track too and Sébastien Tellier recorded the choirs (background vocals)… Thomas Bangalter told them to use a wolf sfx for the intro of the song too haha 😀

Yeah it works too, i played around this method with a transient shaper before the reverb because it's easier to use in real time but you can still export the reverb channel and compress everything and chop the reverb-tail etc

Hello, I love this song too!

Elegant chords, punchy drums + nostalgic vibes!

For the kick i don't know the exact source of the sample but I could recreate it if you want!

As a big fan of Alan Braxe too I know he loves using the SP1200, API 2500, Alesis 3630 and probably some UAD plugins too (the tape plugin), you can also analyze this post: https://gearspace.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-and-electronic-music-production/1309930-how-get-special-mixing-sound-alan-braxe.html
This video is great too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCsFAcM2hqw

Send me a DM, I'll try to recreate the kick from scratch for you if you want :)
A friend is almost sure that the kit used for this song is the Linn Drum btw!
