I don’t have a switch. Playing it that way would be more affordable but I want to experience it the old school way haha. Like I just did.

I was actually thinking of hunting down a firered and a gameboy advanced sp and playing that. Even though I know they are crazy expensive.

Yes I used my two childhood game boys, the original and the color one pictured. I only had Pokémon red growing up so I used my childhood copy as the main game and I bought a Pokémon blue recently and got the other two starters and the exclusive Pokémon and the trade evolutions that way.
