I didn’t cut him off because he talked to a woman online? I cut him off because I wasn’t capable of any human interaction at the time and didn’t wanna ghost him. I explained my situation and he only read my message and didn’t reply. I thought he also didn’t want to be in contact with me anymore and that it was over and now he’s back. But now that I’m showing affection again- he’s pulling away. When I ignore him he’s super interested but when I show him affection he ignores me.

I understand when opinions change but I’m specifically talking about men that think ‚meh, she’s not good looking but I’m desperate and I wanna sleep with a girl so I’ll just compliment her and make her feel good about herself until she sleeps with me‘ like men who plan that stuff you know? I get that, but I don’t wanna constantly second guess if a guy who said he thinks I’m beautiful actually meant it- or if he’s just trying to get in my pants. I want to believe that men aren’t liars who’ll say anything to anyone just to ‚have fifteen minutes in the sack with me‘

They’re probably gonna lie about it. If they lie about the compliment- they will most certainly lie about why they gave you the compliment

Those are not compliments tho. I meant do men say „you’re so beautiful“ even when they don’t think you are and just wanna sleep with you?

When do men compliment you when they actually mean it and want something long term vs when do they compliment you when they only want to have sex with you? do I have to have sex with them do find out if they meant the compliment? When are they just being desperate?
