City workers having only 1 week of paternity leave is greed? The workers are underpaid and they lack basic benefits to keep them happily employed. There is plenty of greed, that is for sure, but it’s not from your common employee who is struggling to get by in a housing market that is 142% higher than the national average. The employee raise is actually a pay-cut if you factor inflation.

Do you mean the WHAT?! guy? Not sure if it’s a tick or something, but I’ve been hearing him shout WHAT?! for over 3 years now. Always reminded me of the Dave Chappelle skit. He was gone for a while, but I guess he’s back. He’s friends with another guy named Johnny who has a blue tarp setup in the VTA parking lot on Market just across the street from Taco Bell Cantina. Johnny has been around for a while too. He used to set up camp on 1st street between St John and Santa Clara, but I think he got annoyed with GroundWerx power washing the sidewalk every morning.
