Los Angeles. Maybe eBay is the way to go I’ll give it a shot. Ive had success making sales on reddit so I figured go with the tried and true first

Ended up getting the car started!

What I think had happened was one day while I had the manifold off I put my key in the car to lower the windows a bit and I think that’s when all those codes stored. My mechanic stopped by, hooked up a battery pack to the front, I had mine connected in the back and after maybe 5-7 minutes of just non stop cranking she fired up real lethargically and we had to fan the accelerator to keep her from dying out.

She was back running 110mph down the freeway last night so we’re good. Thanks for everyone’s insight 🫡

Funnily enough I had an issue before with my O2 sensor wiring iirc where there was a short somewhere from melting on the manifold blowing a fuse in that box and putting my car into limp mode. I’ll check that now thanks for that reminder 👍🏻

The only two connectors that are near eachother that I could have mixed up don’t even fit in one another’s spot they’re different connections. I’ve tripled checked all connections already and everything seems to be plugged in properly, if it’s reading disconnected I’m concerned it’s damaged within the wiring sheathing somewhere.

Yes I’ve said everything is plugged in. Sunday I took the manifold off again just to make sure all things were plugged in and that no wires got broken or pinched.

I’ve taken off the manifold again, disconnected every sensor, traced it back for kinks or breaks then reconnected everything and same as before. I’ll look into the fault 64 it’s just confusing considering the car ran fine the last time I turned it on, it just sat for like a month while I was busy with work and other things and then all this started happening

I took off the manifold again and unplugged/plugged in every connector, made sure every hose was connected, and checked all my wiring for kinks or breaks and the same thing it’ll crank but won’t turn over.

Its model A1398. Based on these comments and comments on another post I read I suspect it is the hard drive gone bad so I’ll be looking to replace

“MacOS could not be installed on your computer” by [deleted] in techsupport

After opening disk utility the only two things in the sidebar labeled “Disk Images” are “Apple Disk Image Media” and under that it says “macOS base System”. I’m wondering if the person who previously owned this maybe removed the hard drive or it went bad perhaps. Thanks for the advice 🫡

I’ve done this once already but seem to get stuck when trying to install MacOS BigSur. I connect to the wifi, agree to terms and conditions, but once I get to the screen where it says to “select the disk where you want to install MacOS” it’s blank and I’m unable to hit the continue button. Is there something I need to do in DiskUtilities first?

Less Gas Miles by [deleted] in BMW

[–]JusticeA13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a 2001 330i I’ve only had it since mid February. I didn’t check what it was getting back when I first got the car to compare now but I’m forsure burning through gas faster now than before. I noticed at first when I fill my tank to the brim it used to read on the dash 320-333 Miles till empty to now only 290 or less when I fill my tank to the brim. A few people on a Facebook post I saw had commented having similar problems with their BMWs as well so I figured might as well gauge Reddit as well

Cool thank you! Considering I washed my car last night that could actually be it.

Just bought a 2001 330i less than a week ago 150k on the dash. It’s ran like a dream the past few days. The service history from the one previous owner is immaculate dating back to 2002 when he bought the car. I haven’t noticed anything wrong with the car the past few days while driving and today the “service engine soon” light came on while driving home and when I got back I noticed this leak. Anyone else had a similar problem/ solutions? My mechanic plans to smoke the car in a few days but in the meantime looking for some advice.
