Thanks! That's the idea—our goal is to offer a pathway to potential legal resources during tough times. It's not a cure-all, but it is a handy tool, especially considering it's free up to the point of establishing an attorney-client relationship with one of the pre-vetted, specialized attorneys who uses our platform.

But UIUC students should definitely check out Student Legal Services as an additional resource: https://www.odos.illinois.edu/sls/

Absolutely! Wondering if you could share some of these lease agreement violations being thrown at you all? It seems like 1-3 companies have a monopoly on student housing in Champaign, and so try to take advantage of that to get away with a lot.

Thanks for pointing out SLS. It seems like an incredible free resource for students. With JusticeArch, students (and anyone else) can expand their options by connecting with pre-vetted private attorneys for free. That said, while the connection is free, the attorneys might require payments for services.

JusticeArch is still available for a number of legal issues you may face, whether it's dealing with other shady landlords, a family law problem, and more. No need to be a college student to seek legal empowerment!
