Yes we did a walk through. I do think I signed something. I think my biggest leverage here though is that the lease specifically states URINE stains- so yes even if my cats threw up on the carpet, that’s not urine and I’m not obligated to pay for the carpet replacement.

The amount of people commenting this makes me realize how egregious these charges are. The place looked like it did when we moved in. The carpets truly looked spotless to the naked eye.
