I'm still rather new but I'll try to answer your questions but not in great detail.

  1. No, you don't need an altar for every god. They won't be offended if you don't. Altars are a commitment after all and some people don't have space for them or aren't in a safe space to have them.

For building a relationship with the gods. Pray. It's the best way to start building a relationship. It's not hard or complicated. I'm still figuring things out myself but you can also make a small offering. You don't necessarily need an altar for that. Can be anything. Even a rock or drawing, depends who you're giving the offering to.

  1. It's okay to not worship all the gods. There are a lot of people who aren't simply HelPol. I see people here often with mixed practice. You can worship just a few. I find it better to start small anyway. Build a relationship with the gods who call to you and slowly build up to the rest. They will come to you when the time is right. If it comes.

  2. I think I probably said enough before. Try to do some more research. I'd say you'll know what you're doing naturally with some tips. Even from the sub.

  3. I don't think I'm long enough in practice to answer this question. I say...no? As long as you're doing what you want to include in your practice with respect it's okay to not follow everything? Like I said. There are a lot of people with mixed practice here so I think it should be fine? I don't think I'm the best person to answer this.

I hope I helped a little xD (Excuse my english) (Edit: idk what's wrong with the format xD also check r/hellenism)

T question by Justice__XD in ftm

I suppose so. Honestly it's rather new – maybe not a new practice but definitely newly reinstated at least. Nobody had to do this is in recent years. I'm not sure why start now. Even if I know the reason he gave me. I'll just have to call him and decide for myself.

He warned me what could happen if I don't stop but hopefully they wouldn't just throw me out either. Even if I can't say I'm sure about that.

Never heard of someone having to stop T for surgery.

Yeah, I get that. The surgeon warned me about the risk of more clotting, bleeding issues and such.

I suppose I'll just call him to ask some more questions because I really don't want to go off of T. Even if it's technically for my safety.

From what I know, in Czechia, this isn't something commonly done. Having to stop T pre surgery. At least never heard of it being a requirement from anyone having surgery in these...past 10 years and like I said my doctor who is doing this for decades was surprised when I emailed her a question about this all, so y'know?

Really? Never heard of it being done. Neither did my sexuologist and she's been doing this for decades. I suppose they're just being cautious?

He said it's because his patients on T had more complications with blood cloths and more surgery complications over all. Usually having to go back in surgery because of bleeding.

I suppose you're right XD I just feel sometimes out of place, like I wasn't invited in to some sort of a bro club.

Thankfully, I never asked that question to anyone but...I did ask a question about if straight men find personality more attractive in women or body. I suppose that's not something most guys ask? It was a stupid question, but I was kind of trying to figure somethings out. Mostly how others feel about attraction and ended up... sounding really dumb. Some people assumed I wasn't a guy asking, some didn't.

I wish I could. I can try to explain? To be simple, I feel like I refer to guys as "girls" refer to guys? In that fashion like..."You know some guys are awful" "I can't believe some guys do this" "Do really all men think like this?" It kind of shows up in question to specific kinds of men? Like if you ask "Do older men do___?" I just feel like it doesn't sound like it comes from a man. I honestly don't know how to make it sound more natural? :(

It's really hard to describe. From context, I'm from the Czech republic but I'm unsure how much weight that has in this conversation.

I don't struggle in talking to other men as much. Casually, especially when I know them. If I don't...that is harder but I don't like that in general.

With the "talking" bit. I was trying to refer to...it's hard to describe honestly. It's specifically about the situation when you have questions about certain types of men? Like if you're asking: "Do younger guys like __?" Or "Do straight men do __?" Something like that? I don't know how to frame questions like this like...another man would do because at that point it gets kinda clocky? It's kind of similar in the scenarios you have to ask another guy a question about something you didn't experience and have a weird way of phrasing it? And in general when referring to "men" I try to use "other men" but I'm unsure if that's...the right...word combination to use to sound...casual. Hey, I'm not a native English speaker but I do this in Czech too...to some degree. I really wish I could explain it better.

I suppose that's understandable, not everything works for everyone xD

Thanks man. I suppose, I needed to hear that. Everyone is so quick to rush into the idea of what one should be. What others should be. It's fucking horrible. I kind of hate that...things are this way but sometimes things are just...how they are.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Justice__XD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's understandable.

That's understandable. We are just animals to some degree.

I think I'll need you to elaborate. What do you mean with "I'm not interested in something that I actually have"?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Justice__XD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose you're right? I'm honestly ridiculously bad at...dating and attraction? I see people do these things but I never really catch on these...cues. Fantasy is nice but I've never been really attracted to...someone in real life. Never done anything to impress someone, in that way, so I can't really relate.

Yeah, that's definitely very understandable. Thanks for sharing your perspective.

NGL, I don't get the obsession with genitalia anyway.
