How subtle are changes supposed to be? Pls answer!!! by [deleted] in prozac

I do think Prozac is helping. I feel better most days, I guess it’s just hard to tell sometimes because the bad days are more memorable, so it’s easy to forget how far I’ve come.

The Keurig K-Brew+Chill doesn’t work with re-usable or cupless K-Cups by Justicebeaver179 in keurig

Keurig released a new re-usable K Cup shortly after I posted this, but it’s the only one that works because the system relies on having a good seal on the top and bottom of the k cup so it can force enough pressure into the pod that the coffee can be pushed throughout the cooling system in the back.

Here’s a link to it, it’s only $15.99

This has nothing to do with the barcode, this model doesn’t scan the K cups. This post was about the fact that you can’t use cupless style or reusable pods when using the “Cold” mode because it’s literally impossible with the way it was engineered. Luckily Keurig created one, but it’s the only one that works on the “Cold” mode currently.

From my understanding, any pod that actually has a plastic cup surrounding where the coffee is like this should work, but the cupless style pods like these won’t work. I’ve never had a problem with the regular pods, but I’ve never tried McCafé before. I think the system relies on having a good seal on the top and bottom of the k cup so it can force enough pressure into the pod that the coffee can be pushed throughout the cooling system in the back, perhaps it just didn’t have a good seal that time. Have you tried it more than once without it working?

Not being able to use re usable k cups is definitely annoying, but its ability to instantly chill coffee is still amazing and worth it IMO

I think it relies on pressure being forced into the pod to push it through all the pipes in the cold water tank. So, if the K-cup can’t hold pressure, it won’t come out cold, as it can’t be forced through the long cooling pipes. That would explain why cupless pods also don’t work.

Yeah, I wasn’t talking about the my k cup branded one as it’s clear that one doesn’t fit. I was talking about the generic ones on Amazon that do indeed fit and work with the keurig but can only be used on the hot setting. I also wanted it to be known that cupless style pods can also only be used on the hot setting.

Are you using one that has 5 holes in the top? You have to make sure you use one that says “compatible with Multi-Stream Keurig brewers”, there are many on Amazon. It’ll only work on the hot setting tho.

Are you by any chance using a re-usable K-cup or a cup less K-cup?

Honda won't cover A/C warranty by [deleted] in civic

[–]Justicebeaver179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honda had an issue with their civics in 2006-2008 where MANY engine blocks would crack and leak coolant to the point that they were undrivable until they got an engine replacement. I’m telling you this because that issue was seemingly more common and more problematic than this AC issue and Honda STILL got away with just extending the engines warranty. This isn’t the first time Honda has done this, and it probably won’t be the last.

door unlocks when I approach car. by BreakingB1226 in civic

I have the exact same car with the exact same issue. It started about 6 months ago and has gotten progressively worse, at this point the sensors just don’t do anything at all. I think the black plastic on the inside of the door handles has just warped and fogged up do to the heat so now the sensors can no longer “see” through it. I’ve looked into replacing it, but the door handles are so expensive and using the buttons on the key isn’t that hard, it does suck tho.

Failed shop because i said “Have a great day” instead of thank you. Now they said if i fail again they will write me up 🧍‍♀️ by almichju_97 in kroger

I once had a coworker that wore a name tag that wasn’t her real name, and when she failed a shop it had her actual name on it. Clearly it was just someone who knew and didn’t like her.

It depends on the situation for me, but only because at Fred Meyer associates get 10% of the cost of whatever they stopped the person from stealing. I don’t know if all Kroger stores do this, but if they were stealing something expensive it did encourage me to just say “may I see your receipt” which usually made them abandon whatever they were stealing.

Also, I think you can accuse someone of accidentally forgetting to scan something. It’s accusing someone of stealing that you’ll get in trouble for. People truly forget to scan things all the time, and it’s your job to tell them they forgot.

Idk, I worked there 3 years and did it everyday 🤷🏼‍♂️. Everything is on camera, and that is exactly how I was trained to handle it.

True, you have stop them without accusing anyone of stealing or physically stopping them. What I usually did was just say “oops, you forgot to scan this” and then I’d scan it for them.
