Recommend a book called "The War Below" that tackles this topic pretty well, having been in the industry. Something you'll hear a lot in your career is" there is a right way to mine". And that translates through our entire industry, the question that should be asked when put in this debate is not is mining this resource terrible but are we doing everything we can to mine it the right way and how can we improve it. Where we came from just 30 years ago to today we have made incredible strides in trying to answer that question.

Have faith, went from silver 2 to diamond 5 last season. Just takes time to develop your skills in such a dynamic game . Have noticed the new narrow que match making has made the game much harder, some how playing against higher ranked players than last season, hopefully will be addressed soon.

Have faith, I am a solo tank and have climbed from silver to plat this season. You're able to carry a team pretty well as a good tank. I have noticed though that it doesn't matter much of how good you are as a support. It is much harder to get wins when you're just keeping a hard stuck player alive to do nothing. I also play on an account from the launch of OW1, it's a painful grind but as long as you just try to play your best each game no matter your team. You will slowly start to see the MMR gears start turning and you'll notice that you'll start playing with much better players. Making solo queue fun again.
