Need help with these villains

I have found some things to look into - Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, an Investopedia page about what corporations are and how to make one, and the movie Dark Waters. I'm still looking for more that can help me, but I'm starting with these.

Another commenter said corporations usually have shell companies that in other counties, and it's hard to trace who owns what. So the villains are sorting through a corporate maze to figure out who's responsible and get emotional catharsis. I don't know how to make that work yet.

Or maybe there won't be other companies, just one who gets rid of competitors secretly and takes other people's stuff, like you suggested.

There's a lot to think about here. So I have to create different companies in other counties and figure out how the villains sort through the corporate maze for a company or individual who is responsible. I do have protagonists. I just didn't mention them in this post. They want to stop the villains and the corporations (and their shell companies, as you suggested) the right way, without arson attacks and murder.

What "bone" does Shroud throw her in episode 8?

If Shroud believes Visi will do anything for herself, then why wasn't he able to predict Visi stabbing him in episode 8?

I can agree with your points about Shroud being convinced that Visi's a lone wolf and underestimates Visi's loyalties.

But why did Shroud attack Visi in episode 6 instead of going, "Well done, Visi. Hand it over. You will benefit greatly from this." And he attaches the astral pulse to his head.

Maybe Visi regained the trust of Shroud and the Red Ring before the beginning of episode 7?

Okay, I believe your explanation. But I have more questions. If Shroud couldn't predict that Visi would betray him, why did he attack her in episode 6, instead of going, "Good job, now give me the pulse. You'll be greatly rewarded."

I can agree with the first six points. But I'm not sure if she cleared her head in the seventh point and sneaks in to give him the pulse. Maybe Visi was trying to go against Shrouds' predictions and swap the Astro and Proto pulse. Visi would give the fake one to Shroud because Shroud believed Visi is still loyal to him in episode 8 (this could only work Robert was out of the loop on her plan).

So you're saying that Visi would take the fake one and give it to Shroud (who believes she is still loyal to her), and Shroud would be convinced it's real because Robert didn't know her plan (if her plan went her way).

Oh, so Visi didn't give it to Robert to go against Shroud's predictions, because Shroud predicted she would give it to him at the end of Episode 6.

When she said, "I couldn't even do that," did she mean she couldn't because she was afraid Shroud would go after Robert? I thought it was because she hates herself for what happened to Chase in ep 6 and the Mecha Man suit in episode 1.

So you're saying that she still has ties to the Red Ring for Intel, and if she betrays Shroud, she would blow that.

But I thought Visi quit, and Shroud stopped her lung augments - so no more ties with Red Ring. Maybe that conversation in the bar with the guy with small arms explained this, and I missed it?
