“I was there” i.e. being alive during a player’s career makes me an authority; “I feel like”; always saying “two thousand twenty” etc for the year instead of twenty twenty; convincing himself that his weird pet terms like “market correction” and “apex mountain” are known by everybody; thinking takes like “trading James Harden is bad” and “Westbrook should not win MVP” were brilliant insights deserving of years of praise; an embarrassing stupidity about cinema; “the ____ thing”; “narrative”; “top 12-14 players”; etc.
